street racing dangers
The FASTEST you have ever gone in a car?

Not in a motorcycle or atv or plane, an how did it feel?

When i was younger (and stupider), i raced some kid in a Camaro, I was in a 2001 Mustang GT. When i passed him i was doing 123-124ish. I felt like i was doing 150!! No whobbling or shakeing steering. The fear of wrecking, an the fear of getting caught gave me a huge adrenaline rush. Thats for the most part, why i enjoyed street racing back when i was younger. I dont do it anymore, I realize its not just me im putting in danger but innocent people and children.
Thers no way a RX7 would even pass 130 dude…

I used to own the original Boss 302, 1969. I removed the RPM limiter and was able to shift at 7600 RPM. Consequently, the fastest I’ve ever been was in this Mustang, 152 MPH. This was when the national spped limit was reduced to 55 MPH. It was incredible and foolish. I passed cars on the E-way like they were parked!!!! Looking back, though, the car was not equipped with tires that could handle that kind of speed. I count myself lucky that something horrible never happened, like a blow-out. I was even chased by a trooper one time, but he couldn’t catch me. I figured I could do the right thing and pull over and take my lumps and a stiff fine, or try to escape. The adrenaline rush was there, for sure. Luckily, I managed to out-flee him!
